Hey everyone! I'm really excited to talk about my favorite drugstore mascaras today. These are the ones that have totally saved my lashes, which are naturally pretty sparse. Mascara is seriously my go-to beauty product—I can't leave the house without it. If you're after a mascara that adds volume and length without costing a fortune, you're gonna love this post!
Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara
Oh my gosh, this mascara is seriously my ultimate favorite! Thank you so much for existing~ First off, it totally gives me that false lashes vibe, which is amazing, right? The wand's curved, and I'm all about that—it grabs all my lashes in just one go. And get this, it's got these little fibers that add some extra thickness to my lashes. Total win for me, considering I'm not naturally blessed in that area.
Update 2019: This mascara is totally discontinued and probably replaced by the new Falsies range, which is a totally different formula.
Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket Washable Mascara
Let's start with the packaging. I think it's nice, but there's a small issue when I hold the mascara wand. It feels a bit uncomfortable in my hand due to its design. But hey, if it works for you, that's great.
The brush is amazing at defining lashes. I hardly get any clumps, even after lots of swipes. So, you can keep adding more layers without a hassle. The formula is just right—not too thick or thin. It's easy to take off too. Plus, it dries quickly, so no smudging. Overall, I really like this mascara. It's totally worth the money, even though it's not super pricey.
Update 2019: Another discontinued mascara. It was phenomenal but phenomenal wasn't enough so they had to discontinue it.
Silkygirl Eye Opener Waterproof Mascara
This mascara totally makes my eyes pop, hence why they call it that. And seriously, it's such a steal price-wise, though I can't quite remember the exact amount (somewhere between RM12 to RM15), but trust me, it's cheap as chips. The wand is thin, so it gets all those inner, outer, and bottom lashes like a dream. Plus, it feels weightless and comes off like a breeze. I'm telling you, no need for fancy makeup removers, just wash your face with your regular cleanser, and it's gone in a snap!
Update 2016: I'm not into this Silkygirl mascara anymore. It's so runny, and it feels like it takes forever to dry. Plus, it's too heavy for my lashes, even after I've curled them.
Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara
You know I'm all about Maybelline's mascaras. They've got so many awesome ones! This mascara's formula is pretty good, and for the price, you can't complain. It really pumps up the volume, not so big on length, but hey, I'm cool with that. I'm just all about that extra volume it gives me.
1 pun tak ada dalam makeup bag Fatin. hehehe. Fatin selalu pakai Big Eye Collagen Waterproof Mascara je. Tertarik sebab ada perkataan collagen kan. Hehehe :P
