Price: MYR32. In my opinion, it's actually very high up there for a drugstore concealer. But whatever, I was desperate so I grabbed it anyway.
Where to get: Guardian, Watsons, Aeon Wellness
Shade: There are 6 shades available, I believe. But the day I was searching for this concealer I only saw 2 shades, light and medium. I got mine in 'Medium' because it suits with Asian skin tones and I'm Asian. If you are on the fairer side, you might want to try the light shade. If you have severe dark circles to cover you may try the neutralizer and if you fancy those brightening and glowing effect go for the illuminator.
Texture: Safe to say it's perfect for the under eye area as it's very lightweight yet covers up my worst dark circles. I use the Garnier Brightening Eye Roll On before applying it and it glides on so smooth! But bear in mind, it's lightweight but not really creamy so it sets really fast and you need to blend real quick.
Packaging: It has a round sponge tip and you simply turn and click the head of the applicator to set the product out. 4-5 clicks to the left is about enough to cover around the eyes. I happen to like it. It's rare. I love rare. I like the sponge applicator even though you may not agree with me. I'll tell you why. Some people seem to hate the sponge tip just because it seems unhygienic. I honestly don't care, you can just use your concealer brush, right? It's there for a reason.
Coverage: Medium to high coverage, I suppose. It really covers my dark circles well.
Staying power: It lasted me about 10 damn hours! That's so cool because most concealers I tried fade after 6-7 hours of wear. Just one thing that bothers me is that it settled in my fine lines. Yup. I hate when that happens.
What I like about this concealer:
- Extremely lightweight
- Perfect for everyday use
- Covers my dark circles so well
- Isn't shimmery
- Lasts almost all day long
- Blends well
- Doesn't oxides
- Medium to high coverage
- The sponge applicator is perfect for my under eye
- Looks natural
- Doesn't broke me out
What I don't like about this concealer:
- Not so creamy
- Settle in my fine lines after 7-ish hours
My rating: 4 out of 5
I have used the product for 4 months now and apart from the two issues that I pointed out, I'm pretty happy with it still. At first, it was impossible to talk negative about this concealer but as time goes, it's slowly telling me that it does have drawbacks. All in all, I love it. Sometimes I like to rotate between this and my trustee 'ol Maybelline Pure Mineral Concealer. Both works well for me.
If you are looking for a new concealer, I say I recommend trying this one out. It really gets the job done with a few dabs.
PS: Please pray for my skin
